Steve Anderson Elected President of San Francisco Estate Planning Council

Burlingame, Calif. – August 20, 2014 – Anderson Yazdi Hwang Minton + Horn LLP announced that partner and founder Steve Anderson has been elected president of the San Francisco Estate Planning Council (SFEPC). He served previously as vice president of the organization.

The San Francisco Estate Planning Council is a highly recognized interdisciplinary organization established in 1953 for San Francisco professionals involved in estate planning, providing its members with opportunities to enhance their skills and expand their network through programs and interaction.

“I am deeply honored to have been chosen to lead our Council and look forward to an exciting year providing our members with superb educational and practice growth opportunities, in concert with our wonderful Board of Directors,” Anderson said.

For 25 years Steve has designed and carried out nearly every type of estate planning strategy for high-net-worth families and individuals. He focuses on maximizing estate values, arranging wealth transfers and planning for philanthropic giving.

He also counsels nonprofit organizations in all aspects of planned giving.In addition to his new position at SFEPC, Steve is a life member of the Board of Directors of Peninsula Family Service and has been named a Northern California Super Lawyer from 2005 through 2013.
